| Jul 15, 2020

The Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Commission has announced that they will start to hold in-person Formal and Appellate hearings on August 1, 2020

The Connecticut WCC will begin allowing a limited number of in-person Formal and CRB hearings beginning on August 1, 2020.

All Formal hearings and CRB Appellate hearings that can be completed utilizing Microsoft Teams or telephonically will continue to be done as such.

However, if, at a Commissioner’s discretion, the respective proceeding cannot be done appropriately through Teams, it will be scheduled to be done in-person.

The WCC is mandating precautions such as face coverings, socially distanced seating and a limited 33% person capacity, and will hold only one in-person formal and appellate hearing per office, per day. The offices will be properly cleaned and sanitized after each proceeding.
