New Maximum Compensation Rates In Connecticut Effective 10/1/17

The State of Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Commission has announced the new State Average Weekly Wage, Maximum Comp Rates and COLA adjustments effective October 1, 2017.

The maximum compensation rate for Total Disability and Decedents’ Dependents is $1,287.00 for injuries occurring on or after October 1, 2017.

The maximum compensation rate for Partial Disability is $1,023.00 for injuries occurring on or after October 1, 2017.

Section 31-294c of the Connecticut General Statutes, as amended by Public Act 17-141, now allows employers to designate for their employees a specific location where those employees must file any claims they may make for workers’ compensation benefits.See here.
